Everyone gets excited about the new year, but some look forward to the new hot fashion drops and new trends. Here is an overview of the newest collections, drops, and collaborations that you might have missed this January.
1/4 Dior Bowling Bag
The Dior bowling bag is a new collection created by the creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri. She brought back the 90s and 2000s look with the round silhouette and has integrated a sporty detail to the elegant bag. The design was created based on the comfort of the two-handle bag used for Bowling. The aim of the creation of the bag is to have a perfect balance between the world of luxury leather-made bags, and the sports world.
The collection features sneaker-inspired details, as the base of the bag is made of rubber to reference the soles of sneakers, and the leather used was chosen specifically to recall the sports world. The rubber base is a new feature and approach for Dior which will hopefully be carried out into more designs in the future.

2/4 adidas for Prada Re-Nylon
The ongoing collaboration between the two brands has resulted in yet another fantastic launch. In today’s collection, the importance and shared commitment to sustainability is highlighted. The two timeless icons from either brand are celebrated: Prada’s Re-Nylon fabric and Adidas’ Originals Forum.
This drop showcases luxury sportswear through a sustainable lens, by using Re-Nylon fabric. The collection included bags, accessories, sportswear, and the Adidas Forum high and low silhouettes. All the products are sustainably made in Italy by Prada.

3/4 Furla Primavera
With the Y2K style having officially made a comeback this year, Furla has decided to jump on the opportunity and create the Primavera line and has taken us back a few decades. The collection showcases variety of lively colors – Peonie Fuschia, dark green, baby pink, white, and more. The color selection makes this bag the perfect accessory for any outfit.
Furla is to maintain the traditional Italian craftsmanship of their bags, promising high quality of their manufacturing process and products.

4/4 Ferragamo x Sun Yuan & Peng Yu for Lunar New Year
2022 is the year of the Tiger. While many brands have created collections to showcase the Lunar New Year with tiger designs, Ferragamo has gone above and beyond. They partnerned up with Chinese artists Sun Yuan and Peng Yu to create the newest collection to celebrate the new year. He has invited the two artists to create a unique print for this capsule collection, and they did not fail to impress.
The collection was created to pay homage to Ferragamo’s history of uniting the world of fashion and art, and there is nothing more meaningful than involving local artists to create the wonderful collection. The pieces include bags, shoes, accessories, foulards, coats, and much more.
