Hi!
I’m Bea, a 23-year-old Italian living in London, currently pursuing my Master’s in Luxury Brand Strategy and Business at Vogue College of Fashion. Having lived in eight different countries, Italy, Poland, Dubai, Lebanon, Thailand, France, the Netherlands, and the UK, I’ve been fortunate to experience a rich variety of cultures, which has deeply shaped my perspective on fashion, business, and the world around me.
My love for fashion started young when I used to spend hours sketching designs in my Top Model notebooks, dreaming of collections that I could one day take to the runway (though my drawings never improved, so I left that to the professionals). I was mesmorized by the energy of runway shows, and as I grew older, and taking Business HL in the IB, analyzing every collection from the fabrics to the marketing strategies behind them.
I would loose myself in Vogue and Vanity Fair, first I’d look at the clothes and colors which would let me imagination run wild as a child, then it progressed to understanding how brands positioned themselves, how brands tailored their storytelling, and how consumer trends evolved over time. Fashion has always been more than just clothing to me; my definition has always been self expression, but now, it’s a language and culture.
For years I have wanted to share my knowledge and skills which I’ve built throughout the years and my experiences. In 2021, after countless friends and acquaintances encouraging me to put my thoughts into writing, I finally took the plunge and launched iwanteditfirsrt. I’ve always had strong opinions and a passion for engaging storytelling, and this space allows me to channel that energy; researching, analyzing, and discussing topics that matter, from fashion trends to travel and wellness, all the elements of a rounded life (in my opinion ofcourse).
Creativity is at the core of everything I do, and this blog is my way of exploring and refining that skill while staying connected to the ever-evolving fashion industry. My days always begin with reading the news and soaking up as much information as possible, fashion, business, culture, anything that broadens my perspective.
